Church Sponsorship Opportunities

Daily Bread:

• Sponsor our Food For All program for a day!
• $200 provides approximately 300 families with free eggs, bread, and produce

Food Vouchers:

• Purchase vouchers in $5 denominations for the families in need at your church
• $10 in vouchers will provide a family with a free one-year membership to the Greater Orlando Food Outreach and more than $25 worth of groceries

Benevolence Fund:

• Our benevolence fund is allocated to assisting families in need of emergency food assistance. After an evealuation, families receive access to our Food For All program, as well as a voucher to participate in the Hand Up program.

Video Presentation:

• Are you planning a sermon on hunger and poverty in the world and in our community?
  We will send you a video presentation that will explain how your members can partner with the Greater Orlando Food Outreach to help relieve poverty and hunger in Central Florida

 

The Good Samaritan:

• Pastor Scott George, Founder and President of the Greater Orlando Food Outreach is available to speak at your church on the issues of poverty and hunger in our community.

Make Hunger History:

• Coordinate a 24-hour fast to recognize the issues of Hunger and Poverty
• All participants donate the money they would have spent on food to the Greater Orlando Food Outreach

Compassion in Action:

• Advertise volunteer opportunities in your bulletin and/or newsletter
• Coordinate a monthly or annual Group Volunteer Project

National Hunger Week:

• Help us provide quality Thanksgiving Meals to more than 50,000 people in Central Florida
• Coordinate a Thanksgiving Food Drive at your church
• Take up a collection to provide families with gift certificates for a turkey
